Reenvisioned by local design firm Ziger|Snead, the approximately 30,000 square foot building is divided into three levels. The main level provides office and program space for nonprofits, community-based organizations, an auditorium for community and cultural events as well as gallery/exhibition space. The upper level accommodates artist studios, co-working space, and program and office spaces with shared amenities, including a breakroom, lounge, conference room, and wellness rooms. The lower level features large event/training spaces with an adjacent commercial kitchen. Baltimore Unity Hall was redeveloped in a partnership between MAC and Somerset Development Company.
